Introduction
Citizen’s Foundation for advancement of Tanzanian society is a
Non-Governmental Organization established in 2014 in Tanzania with its
headquarter office in Dar es Salaam Region.
This organization deals with matters pertaining to Women, Children,
Youth and vulnerable groups in Tanzania
such as old age people, people with
disabilities, widows and HIV victims just to mention a few in Tanzania, through
providing awareness, training, lobbying and advocacy on life skills, business
and human rights.

Objectives
·
To organise training in life skills especially
on Income Generating Activities (IGA) for poverty eradication.
·
Training Youths within Tanzania and Outside
the Country and or assisting in looking for Education scholarship.
·
To act as a link with other Organizations to
establish suitable environment for Women, Children, Youth and vulnerable groups in Tanzania such as old age people, people with
disabilities, widows and HIV victims through provision of equipment and to promote
the use of sign languages in the community and education level for people with
deaf disabilities in the community.

To ensure networking with the Government and
other local and foreign organisations in order to empower the welfare of women
and Youth in Tanzania.
·
To promote the right based approach which
recognizes older people as equal people/population in the community.
·
To provide legal assistance to the vulnerable
population, women and youth , carry out research on Gender Based Violation
(GBV), legal and human rights issues, and establish programmes to overcome the
said problems.

To understand, carry and execute all kinds of
financial, managerial and entrepreneurship assistance.
·
To facilitate foreign researchers undertaking
studies and programmes aimed at mitigating social economic problems hindering
development and opening new opportunities for investment.
Functions/Activities
Activities
translating the association’s program into actions in the ground are
categorized into projects, campaigns and events. These projects and events are
designed to strengthen relations between members and or membership groups of
the association and other organizations. This includes

documentary, Television and Radio youth development programs and dissemination
of information on national and international policies relevant to members and
or program pertinent to women, children, youth, youth exchange and vulnerable group
